Master A&S » Structure

The Master’s Degree is divided into two post-graduate degree programmes. Each postgraduate degree consists of 2 modules, with each module being subsequently subdivided into different subjects. Duration: 1500 hours (512 teaching hours + 154 hours of non-presential tutored sessions + 834 non-presential sessions). ECTS Credits: 60 Price: € 6600 Course period: from October to June. Class timetable: Tuesday from 15:30 to 20:30. Thursday from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 15:30 to 20:30. Programmed visits will be organised on other days during the course (generally on Fridays). Venue: EPSEB. Diploma: In order to obtain the Master’s Degree diploma, it will be necessary to complete a mini thesis at the end of Module B (postgraduate I) and the final project at the end of Module D (postgraduate course II).

MODULE A ENVIRONMENTAL PARAMETERS IN ARCHITECTURAL AND URBAN DESIGN.

MODULE B ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND THE USE OF RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES IN CONSTRUCTION AND URBANISM.

APPLYING THE NEW TECHNOLOGIES OF THE DIGITAL ERA AND SUSTAINABLE CONSTRUCTION TO AN ARCHITECTURAL PROJECT The postgraduate course is divided into Modules C and D. Duration: 637.5 hours (234 teaching hours). ECTS credits: 26 Course period: from March to June

MODULE C INTRODUCING THE NEW TECHNOLOGIES OF THE DIGITAL ERA INTO AN ARCHITECTURAL PROJECT: BUILDING MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS   AND SMART BUILDINGS.

MODULE D MULTIDISCIPLINARY PROJECT WORKSHOP AND FIELD TRIP.

Number of credits: 9 Course period: from June to June. Lecturers: Joan Lluís Fumadó, Ezequiel Usón, Xavier Tricas, Carles Guillén. Subject: Nearly Net Zero Energy Buildings (NZEBs) In this module, there will be a workshop on projects aimed at applying all of the previously obtained knowledge through an architectural project.
